Overview
- Handmade item
- Size: 14 x 72 inches prior to Dyeing, minimal shrinkage occurs
- Fabric: 100% silk
The process:
Totally sustainable, renewable and Eco-friendly. We use rainwater for the dye bath, which is then used to water our bushes. Leaf matter is composted.
Eco printing involves the foraging of the great bounty of Nature's leaves, plants, fruits, and flowers. All natural designs and colors are drawn directly from the plant matter. The colors you see in the plant designs are the actual colors released by Nature through our process. Each textile tells its own unique story. A truly unique gift and great conversation piece for the wearer.
Note: Colors can vary depending on your computer as your monitor may not pick up the soft shades and subtle prints in our eco printed silks.
Care and Feeding: Handwash in cool water with Ph neutral detergent and drip dry out of the sun or in the dryer with no heat. Iron as needed.
When you buy this scarf, Wentworth Page will donate $10 to Piedmont Wildlife Center's upcoming outdoor events. We love the outdoors and want people to connect with it. This is our way of seeing that happen, locally. Please consider buying one of these one-of-a-kind scarves and be reconnected to the outdoors every time you wear it.
